Default Driven Clutch removal tool

First I would like to say thanks for the info I have already received. I just had an issue with my 400l, It would not start. Turned out to be the seal on the crankcase side, behind the drive clutch had popped out on one side. Long story short I came here to find out how to build a removal tool for the drive clutch. NOW..... my question is what is the thread size for the driven clutch? I have read alot here and all I have read says they usually come off without removel tool but......I have a machinist friend that will build drive clutch tools for me. So I would really like to know the thread size for the driven clutch also. I know the drive clutch is 3/4 fine but the driven clutch is larger.

After some trial and error here is what I found: I know you very seldom need one because the driven clutch is on a splined shaft, but it is made for a puller just in case. The thread size is......1"-12 the normal is 1"-14 so be carefule as this is not just any fine thread 1" bolt. Then you will need a "dummy" shaft behind the bolt to get it off. It needs to be about 2 3/4 " long by 1/2 or 3/4.

Luckily I was able to get one where I work , probably have to go to a bolt supply rather than a Hardware store. But I bet Hardware store could order you one. I know........not much help here. GOOD LUCK!
