I am looking for a new radiator guard for the front of my Sportsman. I was hitting some deep, soupy holes this weekend and completely caked the front of the radiator shut. Is there any aluminum quards out there that would close of the front end better but still allow it to breath? I looked around, but figured I would come to the place where anything will be answered.

That is waht i have on my 800EFI and works great

 

i dont see how a guard would stop mud from getting in the raditor when nyour in 2 to 3 feet of mud and it fills every part of the fron tend. the guard would be good for stopping sticks and what not but does it realy work that good in these mud holes.

 

You might want to raise it above the cargo box, or do the
one mod that I think is really cool. Modd'in your cargo box
to fit your rad flat inside. Someone on here did that recently
with step by step pics to show how. Really cool!

I mean with no air gettin to the radiator to cool it,, Just wonderin,,,,,
