ok i'll ask this question to you guys who have one installed. i want to know if it actually keeps the mud out of the raditor. im sure w/ looking at it it would stop everything esle sticks, rocks and what what not but it seems that mud would still get in and plug the radiator and by looks theres no god acesses to it w/ a water supply?

hey hobbles, just that when im in deep mud when we ride i dont see how this guard or any other guard would prevent mud from packing the rad. and w/ no accesss to clean it it would over heat fairly fast. does look like a good protector though. thanks.

i would think it would not keep the mud out - it would just flow thru and behind it - especially if you are in deep holes. More for sticks and stuff if you ask me. I would like one but 89 bucks is a little steep for how much benefit I would get. plus its got to block air and access like Sten said

Mornin all,,
No it won't keep any mud out, but it don't stop any air flow, I am pretty sure it saved my rad once already, So I guess it paid for it self , We got a lot of trees here in Kentucky, Lot of creeks too, I stay out of the deep mud tho,, so far,,,,,,
