Default anybody have pics of their snorkels

I would like to see some pics of others snorkels, or if they have any suggestions.
Another question is do you have to seal the belt cover or is it already sealed from the factory? I never had it off (no troubles)

I like the spa hose idea, coming up thru the light pod, so you don't
have that periscope look. I like to know about the belt cover myself,
after going thru alot of water and mud, I have never had the cover
off. I hope I am not ruining anything.

What you say is exactly what I would like is a simple short check list
on what parts to seal and snorkel along with pics. I either get all PICS
and NO instructions on bits and pieces. Still a lil puzzling to me.

Hope others contribute to this thead and we both learn alot!

I'm just looking for some ideas on how to put my snorkel together. The flexable hose sounds like it would be easier to route than the hard stuff, I might give that a go. As for the belt cover, I think i might rip it off to see what kind of junk is in there. As for sealing it, i might put a bead of that blue gasket stuff you use for valve covers on vehicles.

Long as you seal the air box and snorkle with the same diameter as the intake you should have no problem. I always end the snorkle at the handlebars or just above! The belt cover should be OK , On the earlier models we always put a drain on them to drain or check when riding the creeks. any hardware store should be able to supply the hoses ,always use good clamps and silicone them.. I WOULD NOT SILCONE THE BELT COVER ITSELF BE A PAIN TO TAKE OFF LATER!!!!! All the trannys and diffs have vent hoses just extend them along when you do the airbox mods! AutoZone ,hardware stores have it all!

thanks for the input, now thinking about it the blue silicone could be a problem later on, but on the other hand, how often do you have to take the cover off!
