700 sportsman shuts off

My buddys 700 carb has been quitting,when it does the key switch has no power on it as well...any body had this problem?

Maybe check the battery connections for looseness or corrosion. Any more info might help.

Check thermal fuses in black pouches on some models,can short out from corrosion also,good luck

And check the wiring for the key. The connections could be corroded or loose.
