i have a 98 500 scrambler 4x4, my 4x4 only works when i'm in drive but not when in reverse, what would cause this, it was working untill i got stuck and i noticed it would only work in drive, has anyone else had this problem?, and how do you fix it?

 

Did you push the yellow overide button while in reverse?

 

What TLC said. You can download owners manuals from the Polaris website if you dont have one. It would be helpful to read it from front to back. It will give you an idea of how your machine functions and maintenance info. I'm not being a smart a@@ just some advice. We get a lot of questions on here of like this so your not the only one.

Now if you are pushing the overide button (yellow button on left handlebar) and it's still not working then you do have a problem. If this is the case be a lil more specific and you'll get answers!
