In order to change the main jet on a hawkeye, do you have to go through the lower or upper carb.? We took the upper off, but the jet block assembly (plastic) will not come out after we took the two screws out.

 

Had the same problem on another model Polaris. Finally did go at it from the bottom and "tapped" on it to break it loose.

After that, it would come out from the top.
