Bummer about the Hawkeye name going away. I've always felt the "Sportsman" name was dorky. Kinda like something AMC would have come up with.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

I was hoping the 400cc motor would be based on the existing engine. Maybe then to upgrade you would anly need a cylinder and piston to make the '06 and '07 400cc. Guess not.

I suppose this will mean that there will never be any, or very few aftermarket parts for the Hawkeye. I sure would like to find an aftermarket muffler.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]

Will someone at the show ask Polaris when they're coming out w/ a Renegade beater? There probably won't be a good answer, but tell them people are hoping for one. Scrambler 500 w/ bold new colors and graphics, I'm so disappointed. There's always 09'.

Thanks I see it now. Isn't the selectable ADC available on the 07 models?

 

Can anyone tell me if there is ANY change from 07 to 08 in the Sprotsman 90

 

I wanted to purchase an X2 this year with the 800 efi and they only offer it in 500 and 700 for 2008. And there's no more camo offered, only red and od green. I was holding out for a 800 X2 in camo. Oh well. I wonder why they stepped down on the X2's..? Has the 700 proved to be more reliable than the 800??

 

i talked with the rep today and asked how they aquired the 9 percent increase in power. they have re mapped the efi and changed the clutch setup to reduce belt slippage

 

Well I'm glad I didn't wait for the new and improved 08s LOL Seems the only differance for the 08 500 SP is selectable ADC. Although when you go to the 500 360 degree picture it shows dual exhaust (Probably an 800 picture) and neat looking blue tailight lenses for the brake lights. Well maybe next year for a new Scrambler

 

scrammy i asked about scrambler changes and he said next year and its rumored around a 525 outlaw irs 4x4
