I have HPD Trail Pipe and RCR air box mod on a 2000 Scrambler 400 4x4. I am running 270 Main Jet in temps down to 10-15 degrees (under 3000 feet elevation). Seems OK but I am wondering what others are using that have simular mods.

Please respond

Thanks
KD

Are you running a cooling plug too.
For the temps your running in I would (and I am) run a br9es instead of the br8es.
What happens is the br8es is a hotter plug and can overheat, in return it wont spark right and your machine will shut down.
Running a cooler plug eliminates that.
GOOD LUCK!!!

I have a 99 Sport with the HPD pipe/clutch kit, Delta V-Force reeds. RcR air box mods. I run a .250 main. I rarely ride it in the winter. I use the Kodiak for that, it does great doughnuts.
