Default Bored Carb or New Carb?

Okay, So I was thinking of having Rick Ritter Bore out my stock carb, because I was told it would make all the mods i currently have work better. But I was just wondering is it better to bore out the stock carb? Or buy a new bigger one?

What are the pros and cons? Where would i get a new carb from? What specs would i get for my 2001 Polaris trailblazer 250.

Also i thought it would be easier since i dont need any adapters and such..

Also has anyone use a RcR pipe before? What kind of a sound do they have?

I was thinking of just adding the fmf silencer onto my hpd pipe, I was told this is a good performance, and sound..

One last thing if i got the porting done from RcR would i get better performance with the head work?

personally i think rick would be better these questions and i beleave you steer you in the differnt you want to go. i think if it was me i would just buy a bigger bore carb instead of boring the one you have. maybe even going w/ a flatslide if you can for better throttle response. just my .02
