Son want to can Phoenix 200 for dirt bike
I was on my first bike at the age of 8. I loved it and never really got hurt. The possibility was definitly there, but I was lucky I guess. I wasn't really interested in ATVs untill the snow falls were less and more and more of my friends were buying ATVs and selling sleds. Now when I look back I'm glad I got started out on bikes and then moved to quads.

in my opinion a person needs one of each we love riding dirtbikes when its a nice dry summer day on smooth trails but when its hilly, muddy or all winter long here in iowa you need four wheels.
my son started out on his quad at 7 and thought he'd like a dirtbike better when he turned 8, so we both got bikes then, we ride the two and four wheels equally in the summer but the bikes sit all winter

My son got an a/c kitty cat for his 2nd bday and a 50cc atv for his 3rd bday. He didn't get a dirt bike until he was 7. Now he is 12 and the only thing he rides is his atv, the 450 wolvy. He updated the kitty cat for an a/c Z120. I did a bunch of hop ups to it and it moves pretty well. He hasn't ridden it for 5 years. I think a lot of it has to do with none of our friends riding dirt bikes or sleds anymore. I think the dirt bikes are far more dangerous than the wheelers but that of course is very driver dependent. I see dirt bikes out on the trail once in a blue moon but the trails in Hurley can get pretty rough for them.
