Ok, I need some advice… I ordered 26” Mudsharks, (they came as part of the deal when I got my Explorer) its been a couple of months and no tires, my dealer called me and said they cant get the Mudsharks, to come in and pick something else. Now the deal was for $600 out of their catalog, I have $200 left. I’ve already gotten the rims I ordered, 4, 12” steel. My choices are to go with 2 titian 589s, then buy the other two off the internet. Or, get bumpers and hand warmers with the $200 and get the Mudsharks off the Internet.
I realize most of you will say 589s, there seems to be a big following for that tire. So, if I get the 589s could I go 27”, which really measures out to 26 1/8? And how wide should I go up front?
I really like the looks of the Mudshark, and I ride mostly hard pack, the Ms seems like it would be better suited for this. And again, how wide can I go in the front?
Because of the price difference, it either the Titans, or bumpers warmers and the sharks, I can’t afford the bumpers and warmers with the Titans.
Anyone have some good pictures of either tire mounted on their bike? I’d like to see what they look like. Thanks
