i just picked up my brand new 08 outlaw 525 irs. today was the first day i was riding it and this thing is not running right at all. i very nervous as to what the problem is. first it has trouble starting. then it seems to idle high, so i tried to turn down the idle but it almost seems like the timing is off and it wants to die out. some time if i hit the throttle it just chokes and dies. also when it idles it sounds like either the valves are tapping really loud or the transmission is chattering. also its almost impposible to get this dam thing into neutral. the only way i can get it into neutral is if i put it into 2nd gear and lightly tap down on the shifter. also the gears seem so short and its not easy to get it into gear. i can kick up hard on the shifter but it stays in the same gear. this thing is *****ing brand new and has less teh two hours on it and im nervous that there is something seriously wrong with it. this is so unfortunate cuz this machine is not cheap and it seams like its going to be a reall blast to ride. but i cant get this thing to run properly. someone please help or give me an idea as to what the problem is. thank you for the help.

 

Take it back to the dealer
