anyone know where to get a new/used set for a 99 sportsman 500 other than ebay? i dont need rims, just tires to replace my bald ones. please PM if you know anywhere. thanks, PB500

 

Try various dealerships. They most likely have a bunch of slightly worn stock tires sitting next to their dumpsters that they might be more than happy to give away.

i saw carlisle 489s at wally world for 59.00 each good price for basic tires got to throw out a question here is it safe to just replace the fronts and leave the old rears i would wonder if there could be spin out issues or something with the new fronts having better bite

 

in my case it is ok because my rears still have about 80% tread. i am not sure for someone with less tread wear though.
