well i know now what i didnt know then, the cam is hooped, the exhaust lobe is almost totally wore down!!! what the hell causes this??? going to order one monday morning ($290), not too bad i guess. THANK YOU EVERYONE for your imput and suggestions, much appeciated. also would i be able to swap the cam with a different machine like a 500 HO to get more performance, since i have to change the cam anyway

 

Yep the 500 HO cam will go right in. Don't forget to get the cam follower also that will be worn too. Doc

 

shouldn't the valve clearence adjustment take that little bit of wear out?? are the cams for all the polaris quads interchangable???
