Best Price on Kenda Bear Claws?
#1
Hi Guys, I'm in the market for new skins for my wife's SP and the new SP 6x6 we just bought. That's a total of 10 tires (Yikes!) In the past I've bought our Claws from High Lifter, and may again, but with this many tires to buy I'm looking for the best price I can find. Anyone have a good souce with a great price on these?

Gregg, The best Bear Claw tire price that I found was from Texas Cawood Tire Company. I went to my Dealer and he matched the price for me, since this was going to be a Christmas gift from santa hehe
. I also have new rims to go with them too!
Ny the way I didn't know you also bought a 6X6??!

Hi Mac, good to hear from you again. So you put Claws on the Red Rhino, eh? We just picked up the 6x6 last week as an addition to our “fleet.” I’ll use it for utility work around home and as a spare machine to loan out to quadless friends who might want to try out our favorite recreational activity. It’ll come in handy when we camp at Wren Falls twice a year too, for the extra cargo capacity. With a box in the back we’ll even be able to bring Woody along. She loves riding in our Max so she feels left out when we take off wheelin’, but she’s used to it. Such is a dog’s life (we should have it so easy!)
So how do I contact the Texas Cawood Tire Company? Never heard of them.

Looks like $257.06 for a set for a Sportsman delivered to your door.

Boy Thor you beat me to the punch
Sorry about the Texas part of the cawood tire.
Their website is as Thor said above. The company is in Jefferson, Texas. that's where I got the Texas part messed up. Type faster than I think.

So floodrunner, your building up the fleet are ya? I've never bought anything but my used claws (steal) but will probably be looking for the 26" Outlaws next, learned I don't need them massive 27"ers. Just tell them dealers you want to buy a LOT of tires, meaning lets talk to the boss and get a fleet price, hey why not? So hows the snow in mid-wis?

That’s a great site guys, but High Lifter’s prices are better. Check ‘em out.
I didn’t know till looking around on Cawood’s site that Sand Tires is now making the 27” Tri-Claw for a 10” wheel. The “thinnest” 27” Bi-Claw is 9.75 though, so I’d still have to buy new front wheels to mount ‘em up. What I’d really like to try is 27” Tri/Bi Claws on ITP Magnum aluminum wheels, but oh the expense.
Does anyone know anything about the new ITP Spider Tracs? They look like a cross between the Maxxis Sur Trax and the Kenda Bear Claws. They make a 26x13.5 to fit both 10 and 12” wheels. Just imagine 4 of those wide a$$ meats spinning on the back of a 6x6! So many tires, so little time (and money) to try them all. Too bad tire/wheel weight robs so much power but if it didn’t we’d be running 30” tires by now (just wait till the 650/700s come out).
I did a “mock order” on Cawood just to see what the shipping was. Did you guys notice or know that Texas sales tax is 8.25%. Wow! Do they have a state income tax on top of that?
ATVing is a great sport, but I’m beginning to feel like Charlie Sheen must have when he was confronted in court with the cost of his frequent trysts with prostitutes. He replied, “This is beginning to add up!”
SWAC, 1 ½’ to 2’ on the ground. Record snow and cold for the month of December. The first real winter we’ve had in about 4 years. We’re getting so used to temps around zero that when it’s up around 20 without wind we don’t even bother with coats. That’s considered a “nice day.” ‘Bout like you up there I suppose.
Quadfather, Are you sure? Kenda Bear Claws? I did a search on their site with Kenda Bear Claws as the criteria and it came up empty so I just figured they didn’t sell them. I’ll give them a call, thanks.

No dice Quadfather. I just got off the phone with them (Rocky Mountain ATV) and was told they don’t carry Kenda Bear Claws. Can you give me a phone number or other info to verify? There must be some slight miscommunication going on here.
