You might be talking about the rubber grommets in the sway bar. Mine were dry-rotted and cracked right out of the crate. The dealer ordered new ones at no cost to me and I replaced them myself.

Tip: When installing the top grommets, have someone sit on the back rack to compress the shocks. This will make it easier to line up the top bolts so you don't cross thread. It will also make it easier to tighten the top bolt, as you won't have as much of the grommet to compress.

Another tip is to spray the news ones down with silicone. It'll make 'em stay pliable longer and keep 'em from dry rotting for a loonnng time. I spray my CV boots as well.

Had the same problem on my bike . Dealer gave me 4 0f them and I replace as needed.Currently have 1200 miles on the bike.

Out of curiosity how many days/weeks/months were between the build date and purchase date for everyones ATV's? Mine was over nine months, so it had been sitting in a crate or a warehouse for a while.
