Default 2008 Sportsman 400HO

Went to Polaris website, and looked at their 360* view of the new Hawkeye/Sportsman. Looks to be the same other than the body where the footwells attach to the rear fenders.

I noticed it comes with 24" wheels and tires. Wonder what they changed to allow these to fit, and what they beefed up to run these bigger tires. I've always been told no more that 23" tires on my '07 cause if something breaks and Polaris knows you've been running larger tires they will not cover any drivetrain parts.

Wonder if any parts are interchangable with the '07?

on any bike if you run bigger tires they wont cover it under warranty. it looks to be the same bike as the hawkeye except the bigger engine. hope they beefed up the frame some.

I was wondering how they can warranty the '08 with 24" tires, but not the '07. They must have beefed up the CV joints, axles, hubs, etc... And yes, hopefully the frame.

I also wonder if any of the heavier duty parts would interchange with the '06-'07 Hawkeye's?
