Mobil 1 question
I am ready to do my 1st oil change. Went to the store and bought 2 qts of Mobil 1 0W-40 fully synthetic oil. When I got home I noticed it says European Car Formula on the front. Looked at the API Service Rating and it says SM/CF. Owners manual says I need API Rating of SH.
Looked on the Mobil web site, and they only have one type of 0W-40. Can someone explain the API Service Rating?? Am I safe???

Here is the Amsoil link. It specifically lists a SH rating.

Here are two other links:
This one shows test results between Amsoil and Mobil 1.

This one has information on Shell Rotella T 5W-40 Synthetic, which like Amsoil, shows a specific SH rating.
