It will start missing real bad and bog down and just stall out after maybe 15-20 mins of riding . It won't start no matter what until you let it set for about a half hour or so . I bought it used off this couple and needless to say they never mentioned anything was wrong .
Any help would be greatly appreciated .

What is the humidity and temp like when it happens. Certain conditions can cause ice to form in the Carb. This is a common problem in piston engine aircraft. All it takes is high humidity and cooler temp (not cold) and usually a steady rpm. I even owned a 79 Suzuki Truck that did it. Small diameter carbs are more susceptible because of the speed of the air going through it. Its a bit of a reach but keep it in mind. Oh yeah, if it sits for a while the ice melts and the phantom is gone till the next time.

I am in Columbia , Sc . I would like to think that icing is not the problem . I have taken the plug out and looked at it and it looks ok ( its not wet or all gunked up )
I was just wondering if it could be the coil maybe ??

It could be the coil or the cdi. @ least on cars the heat causes things to expand inside the spark control box and thus lose contact. Then when it cools it works again because it contracts as it cools.
