How many miles can you get out of a 500 EFI tank just doing average trail riding? A friend of mine was looking at one this week.

 

When I had my 500 I went 75 miles and still had fuel. I was on a hunting trip and did not check how much gas I put in the next day, can you say hangover, anyway, I have 800 stealth now and I carry fuel, I bet 50 miles max on that. I am sure you can get more than 75 but who can keep there thumb out of the throttle. I know I can't. See ya

 

some people claim over 120 miles but i still say around 100 is about 25 mpg is a good avg. to use.

Rock crawling 10-15mpg, slower atv trails about 15-20mpg, open faster trail riding 20-25mpg.

 

18 to 23 mpg is about right, more than that if you're really easy on it.

 

i think we got close to 26 mpg once w/ the wifes sp.450 so its not to far off.

Hey 800pocamo, I get about 18 in mixed driving including really nasty rocks, mud, water, etc. I get about 22+ when just cruising along in 2wd high. With the X2 you get a 6 gallon tank so 100 miles is not out of the question per tank. The 500HO my son rides in his ATP gets about 20 tops and about 16 or so when in the rough stuff. Only has a 3.5 gallon tank. We carry gas for him.
