Sp carb troubles

Default Sp carb troubles

yeah I have ran the same jets in this carb since ive owned it for the last 4 years in the same area. I actually just put in a new pilot jet, the other one was breaking down and kept plugging. But I kept it the same size. I can take the airbox off and see that the CV slide is opening half way at full throttle.

you already done this probaly but have you blowed out the fuel lines could have something in it.i've never had one do like that.my slide doesn't go all the way up either. but it does run fine

yeah I have replaced the fuel lines from the tank to the carb...

with the model # you can go to bikebandit.com and get blueprints for your model.it could help.is the air filter clean or the exhaust clogged up that'll make it run poorly

okay I will have to look into that. I just replaced the air filter, and I dont think the exaust would be plugged. I took the muffler off a while ago and cleaned it out. If I hold the throttle in the mid range it will usually kick in and go, but thats about the only time....

no I dont think Its that, I have been thought clutches too. I wont rev out, even in neutral.

Just wanted to ask you... when you installed your new cam... is the timing set exaclty?
