Just wondering if anyone has this problem?

I only see 2 springs in the front (header) and then a bracket on the pipe towards the back.

Check it out..

2blue,
Man, you are having more problems than I care to imagine. It sounds like it needs a trip back to the dealer pronto. The seat latch obviously is not working and the exhaust is not right either.
Unfortunately my quad is at the dealer for service so I can not compare or look at anything right now. That is a hole other issue for me. I'll tell you later when the dust settles.
I also noticed it looked like you coolant was low. As mine was too but not as low as yours looked in the video. The videos are a great way to describe the issues.
I hope you GF is OK and you get things squared away.
My quad has been awesome so far.

I'll be checking my exhaust today. No problems w/ the seat so far, but its only got 180 miles on it.

Hey jampg.... my coolant was low as well. Topped it off and it's been fine. Apparently it's air bubbles, ad is common.

Bad springs that attach the Y-pipe to the header pipe? Or bad donut gasket in that joint? Just doesn't seem right that it would move THAT much.

There is a new heatshield for these bikes, but I haven't got one yet. My HSP pipe is a lot farther away from the plastic and when I got new plastics for mine under warrenty I got them to order a lot more of the heat tape for me. I doubled and tripled the amount of heat tape where it had melted thru. So far no problems.

As far as the dealer telling you if you touch it it'll void your warrenty, thats BS. Thats not right. My dealer knows I'm a mechanic so I have done all my own warrenty work on my bike. They get the parts in I take them and put them on and bring the old parts back in for them to go back to Polaris. That way they have paperwork of the problem, and they are getting paid to replace the parts, so if there is an issue later Polaris thinks all the work was done in thier shop I would assume not every dealer will do this, but I have been dealing there since 1996

Just the heat of the exhaust. The heatshield on the factory pipe was touching the shifter linkage and the plastic "tit" on the side cover. My HSP pipe is a lot farther away from the plastic. Ask your dealer about the new heatshield. I saw a picture of it I think on this forum, Maybe do a search and see if you can find it.
