That # isn't for an X2 rear bumper. Thats the rear bumper for standard Sportsman.

I think you are right, Under that number it has "Model sportsman MY 05-08 x2 $94.99, Then list's 2 more for the X-2 under that. One red #2875174-288 and one blue one #2875174-341 on page 40 of the 2008 ATV accessories & apparel " Polaris catalog. Looks like their $109.99. Then the stainless steel one lists for $319.99. No part numbers for the X-2 tho. Or picture's.. Although the catalog I have is a 2008, I was told by the dealer that Polaris put a new one out that's updated. I don't have that one.

Thanks for the link. It looks like it isn't attached to the box and that it will fit around a silencer.

Thats the same bumper used on the ATP, they don't look right! hang way down.
The ATV Guru bumper mounts close and follows the lines of the bed. Looks a lot nicer.
