Default low power

I just bought a 2007 polaris sportsman 500 EFI. It seems REALLY nice in the mud and streams, it diddnt get stuck where i tried to. however, when i try to do wheelies, it just doesnt have the torque to lift it... it barely flexes the suspension. THe low end "throw factor" just issnt there. I dont know if this is normal or if this needs adjustment, but for a 500, i feel it should be able to get up and go, but this slowly does it. The top speed is roughly 52 mph down the road in a 1/4 mile.

overall, i'm very happy with it, it is nice is the mud with the AWD, however it's not as punchy as our old arctic cat 300...

thanks for the help,
erick

Get a primary clutch spring out of a 2000-2002 400 Scrambler and replace the blue/green one.

Didn't we all just go through this in a different thread? It's a UTILITY quad, how good should it be at doing wheelies?

I don't condone power braking. I did it once and that horse almost threw my old *** off!!!! I won't do it again. I was just offering the guy a way to make it stand up.

Even the big utes need to be able to lift the front end a little to get over unexpected obsticals. And this can be done with proper clutching.
