wheels? hmm cant recall the brand..................bought them on ebay............ rears are 12x8 and fronts where 12x7.......................stock wheel in the front is 12x5.....................because of the new wider front wheel that i bought on ebay (12x7)................i put 12x10 x25 tires on the front, which are carlisle 489's to match the stock carlisle already in the back. i believe it was about $230.00 for the set of 4 wheels on ebay.....................

it is a shame that certain hawkeye's were defective and had recalls...........<div class="FTQUOTE"><begin quote>Originally posted by: Rowe

i bought a 06 hawkeye. it was in the shop four times between carb issues & recall. worst bike i ever owned, however i did like the size it was great for putting through the woods w/out trails could squeeze through just about anything. be careful w/ your rims they bend pretty easy & unlike some say i didnt beat it. i rode it but definitely didnt abuse it. put 300 miles on it in 7 months and traded it for a stealth 500. i love this bike wish i would have bought it in the beginning</end quote></div>
