not sure since it was tumbling down the rd in fron tof my truck. didnt hurt the truck as the bumber has already had a dented bumber from the other guy(someone elses truck i was driving) hitting one last friday lol. when i pulled over the deer already jumped off the rd and crawled away to die. didnt have time to try to find him.

Man, I can't believe it! Most important thing is that you are okay. Did your truck take any damage?
Well I have to ask, did you end up keeping the deer?

Here's my setup.....Nothing elaborate but very functional......I made a 2in. receiver which accepts the rear rack.

Hey all, hoping for you all to have success on your hunts. I will probably not get out until shotgun season opens here in Mass. I hope you all get the trophy deer and freezer filler. Stendori, I remember when I canoed the Allagash River in Maine that the logging trucks had these huge front end/grill guards that they called Moose Bouncers. They were the width and height of the front end and were made out of 3" deep by 1/2" steel. The guy driving us to launch our canoes had to swerve out of the way and ended up stuck in mud by the side of the road. After seeing the bumper, I'm glad he got out of the way.
