Default Is this a good idea for my trailblazer 250

I have a 2002 trailblazer 250 and it needs a topend rebuild. my dad knows how to do everything but i want something faster and my parents wont get me a bigger bike because they are too much money.

so here is my situation...either i can rebuild my 250 and put some mods on it

or

my friend has a yamaha 660 motor in the crate just sitting around.is it possible to use my frame and install the motor to it??? and what all would i need to make this thing run??

any help is muchly appreciated, thankyou

By the time the modifications are made to get the 660 in place, you may be cheaper to get the new bike. Go with your parents plan if they're paying the freight.

Don't let the hp numbers fool you. Its all in how you get it to the ground. Clutching clutching clutching!

GEt the topend done on the 250 and try to talk your dad into getting the RcR stage1 kit from Rick Ritter
