Springs for SP500/Progressive or What?

Greg,
The floorboards are shaped different on an Xpedition. Moving them back is not really an option. If you move them back it will move where your heel rides on the back of the floorboard and it makes shifting feel awkward.
SPORTSMANho,
I have modified the A-arms on my bike. I modified them to where the tires are moved forward 1.5". The tires very rarely rub. When they do rub it is when the suspension is compressed and I am turning the tires. The floorboard trick would not work right and I got tired of the tires trying to eat the fenders off the bike.

So, has anybody changed the strut cart. and springs together on the SP?
I'm in need of a beefier front end, but would like to hear from someone before I buy Works struts.
Im thinking Works cartridges, and maybe Progressive springs. Maybe Works complete, I don't know.

Handles them great. If I tried, I could wheelie over backwards (traction required)
I just think the front is too soft, and if you get aggressive, the fronts will rub on big bumps.
The 01 tie rods will rub/nearly rub if you use stock rims. I added 1" wider wheels putting the 1" extra width OUTWARD. This moved the center of the tire out 1/2" giving just enough clearance.
