my 02 s-man 400 has a problem with the lights flickering along with the the speedo jumping around and while it's doing this there is a clicking noise coming from the front of the machine, is there a solenoid behind the rad cover that is maybe screwed????

 

the only thing up front would be the recifier as the solnoide is back by the battery. while its doing it put a voltage tester on it to see what it reads. maybe the voltage recifier is going bad. if its over charging it could take out the the electronics so i would check it if you can. just an idear.

 

Make sure your ground is clean & tight at the battery as well.
