I don't remember exactly how it went together, it was a lot of beers ago I remember struggling a LOT with the springs. What I did was put the nuts on the eyebolts just half a thread and then put a small screwdriver in the pivot holes and pryied them down while hammering the bolts in. VERY scary LOL I had the nuts blow off one time when they weren't on enough threads and spending 3 beers looking for them LOL The instructions are HORRIBLE!!!!!!! The pictures are worse. I ended up throwing the instructions away and just thinking it thru with my thinker. I don't remember the pull bar being in the way for anything. I think it could go on last if it's in the way of something. I'll dig out some directions and try to take some pictures tomorrow after work.

P.S. When you get it all together it'll be sweet and you'll actually hope for some snow like I kinda am now

Yes, it looks like step 12, and at first I tried to put it on without the #13 bolt in that holds the pivot bar at that 55 degree angle or whatever. THen I stuck the bolt in and tried it. Maybe I will try to take it clear off and mount the blade and then put it back on. As it sits right now, I don't want any snow. I have a blower and a compact utility tractor with a 6 ft. blade. My neighbor has a honda quad and runs rings around my plowing or blowing my driveway with it. I guess I could bite the bullet and drive to the dealers 90 miles away.

I finally got some pictures resized and uploaded. You should be able to see them when I get a picture icon (pending appoval).

When you bolt on the blade without the pull bar can you get the springs on?

Brainer, Thanks, for all the help you have been. Thanks to all the help everyone has given me too. The pictures help. I see that I do have mine hooked up correctly, but that it must be made wrong, because yours does not hit at the bottom of the pull bar where it is bolted thru. From the side view, the angle between my mount and blade is more obtuse than yours, which makes the distance between my eyebolts and the hook on the blade for the spring far too great for the springs to reach. I have called my dealer and he is gonna research and call me back. They are located in or near Toledo, Ohio and I live near Lima. It looks fairly close up I-75, but from my house to the dealer is like 90mi. I will continue to try to fit it, but have to work this afternoon. Again, you went to a lot of trouble for me. I wish I knew how to upload pics. I tried to upload a pic of my quad, but it kept saying the file was too big. It kinda turned me off on trying it again. I tried to put the pic in my icon. Actually, I guess I did get it down and upload it. Maybe I will try to take one and show the problem I am having. Ed

I just called my dealer and he said that a V plow will not work with a Glacier II system and that you must use a Glacier I system.

Looks like you've got to make a trip. Sorry.

Edit - Just a thought, but if I were you I'd ditch the V and get a 60" straight blade. Glacier I system doesn't have the clearance of the II, and I really like the straight blade even in deep snow. BTW try really hard to get a GREAT deal from your dealer on the straight blade... he owes you.

Gee, I wonder why Polaris did not tell me that when I called? I wonder why they did not tell my dealer when they called them? So either I take the blade back or the mount. I am leaning on keeping the v blade and not the mount. The blade has a ding in it. I noticed it when I took out of the box. I really appreciate all your help. If there is anything I can do for you. I know electricity. It is my specialty as well as a few other things. Thanks, Ed

I really thought about the V plow cause I like to have the goodies, but after I thought about it for a while, it wasn't worth the money to me. And now I know it will only work on the G1 plow I'm glad I got the 60" two way blade.

I thought about that. That would be good for skating rinks on the lake. Kinda like a Polaris Zamboni
