I would like to thank everyone that has posted something on rev limiters and tranny being stuck in reverse on Polaris Sportsman 500. I read several posts last night and they were a big help. Saved me time until I can get the $100 switch in the shifter that seems to be bad.

 

It would be cheaper to find a shifter on ebay
