a few months ago all the citgo's in the cleveland, ohio area switched names to Valero. I wonder if it is still the same owner.

Yea, well it so seems there is validity to all of this
so I'm glad that I DID post it. I feel the same way
lets BUY AMERICAN! But more so lets stop filling
up the wallets/Bank accounts of the Commies, Arab-terrorists
and those who are proven enemies of AMERICA!

I mean why give them the gun money, only to
have to deal with it later. Okay off my rant now!

Hey I plan to ride next week and today geeking
out with my cuz to put racks on and get'em readu
for next Saturday (Lord willing)!

Cheers,

Petro Express is not owned by Citgo. Petro Express is an American owned company with its headquarters based in Charlotte, NC.

Truth or Fiction- Petro Express

So what is worse. Sending our money to Democratic Vanezuela or the Middle East, both of which seem to hate the U.S.? Sounds like a lose/lose situation.

Well notice I say "If true" in my opening remarks, and should we believe Snopes or listen
to the companies disclaimer? If the company is corrupt and is
Chavez/Venezuela owned, do you think they would really openingly
admit it? And yea I agree Middle east and/or Venezuela or some other
country only gives others control over us to Monopolize our economy and
steal more money when they feel like jacking the prices cuz they don't
like our government/US Politics or presence on their land.

Bottom line, we need to do something else or more to be less
dependant on foreign oil. I am not preaching isolationism or
Bush doctrine or any politics just makes good ole sense to me.

Alternative fuels or engery sources maybe trade agreements
with other countries to partner with on oil or find more US Oil sources,
(if any) I don't know?

What is not well known is the vast majority of America's oil supply comes from Canada via American owned companys. 63% if I remember correctly and less than 25% comes from the middle east. Don't know about Venezuala. The heavy oil reserves in Canada are vast but expensive to get to market. When the general population of the US is ready or has to pay a bigger buck for gas, I'm sure the Exon's of the world will turn on the tap. More attention has to be made to develope Hydrogen as a common fuel but until that time the Chavez's of the world will play dictator with the oil.

With 9-11, America bled, but the rest of the free world felt your pain.

Thanks Mongrol for the sentiments! I suspect you are Canadian?
Why ya might ask? Cuz I meet a number of Canadians that are
more patriotic then us Americans sometimes. Soon as the liberals start
talking their Anti-War propaganda with all the news attention
they need, so many impressionable minds just suck in what
they say at face value believing its true.

I am not sure who I will vote for my next president but whoever
it will be needs to send a strong message to the world that we
will NOT set back and take their demands. (eg. Oil rape, nukes
to terrorists, etc..)

"We won't back down, never have and never will!" We need a
strong voice - I'll stop there!

What really ticks me off, as a middle of the road Canuck, is that the Libs have forced your troops into trying to fight a politcally correct war. Can't be done. Drop a big one in the Sand and come home!
