i have learend in my short life not to discuss politics or religon. but i support our troops and i will never forget 9/11. the liberals seem to forget what is important and promote what is not.

as for the war, i think sadam was evil and needed to be removed from power, but the war should have and could have been handeled better. dont send our troops over there with 50% of what they need. We are the USA, we have the best military in the world. send them with what they need to get back to their families safely. tell the damn politicians that instead of buying that third "summer" home to give the money to our troops.

also dont lie to me, tell me what is going on. im not some stupid redneck who doesnt understand they way of the world. politicians from day one have always told us what we want to hear and do the exact opposite.

as for gas, it is a neccessary evil. with a v8 chevy truck and its loan and the new polaris 800 with its loan and school loans, i barely have enough to buy gas let alone ride. but i try to get out anytime i can.

have a merry christmas to all. and remember those who are not with us any longer.

You might be right in not discussing those subjects, but remember "If you don't stand up for something, you might stand for anything".

Nuff said.

Man, that is cool! I really like your comments guys!
Semper Fi! Yes, I think that is exactly what most of
us feel in our hearts from dropping the Big one(s)
to supporting our troops. I am not ashamed I have
voted for BUSH, but its not about that nor Republican Vs. Democrat
its about what you all just said, "Doing the right thing!" And
IF we didn't then start doing it now, finish what we started, rebuild
and then move on!

Because when it comes down to it all politicians
have really disappoint me at one time or another. We as Americans
should really be more unified especially with our foreign policies and
and our Military cuz its like you said, you just can't fight a politically
correct WAR even more so in that region of the world. And if that
part of the world see us with a female president they will think we
are weak! - NO BASH here, just stating the obvious from their viewpoint.

After reading this entire post, I'm looking to fab and build an awesome mod for my Xplorer 400. I'm thinking a set of pedals would do the trick, start using the engine as a paper weight, LOL. Lets see, 500lb four wheeler + 190lbs of me + nothing but leg power x another 300 miles or so and I'll be built like the HULK! Hell Yeah! Seriously though, any brand of fuel that you buy is benefitting at least some people who are against our way of life. There's no other way about it, just do the research and pick from the lesser of the evils. And when everyone finally runs their wells dry and the U.S. starts tapping their reserves, aside from who you'll be supporting financially, do you think it will be any better? I get a feeling that our government would happily rape us for more $ per gallon than foreign govts do. Hell, we pay our own state and federal govt about 44cents per gallon tax right now on fuel that didn't even originate in our country. But remember, here is another option in this mess: Send me $39.95 +$4.00 S&H and I'll send you my new Leg Power stroker kit for your quad! Yes! Fully custom built and hand assembled! You too can have a slow and underpowered quad coupled with legs that look at home on Mr. Universe!! So act now! Sever your dependance on fossil fuels and pedal until you have a coronary! Ok sorry about that, I'm working 11-7 and it's 4:53 in the morning , I'm getting a little goofy.....I apologize if this post seems less humorous in the morning.

Hey all, It's time I jumped in again, so here goes. 1) Many refineries were shut down (mostly during the Clinton years) during the past 20 years. It's time to open them up again. You can pump all the crude you want out of the ground, but without the refineries you may as well take a swim in it. 2) I don't understand unions that vote for liberal democrats. The unions in Alaska want to get to work opening up new oil fields in a small area of government protected land (called ANWAAR). The liberals keep voting against opening up this area saying it is a "pristine wilderness". Pristine in the sense of scrub brush a foot high on a frozen wasteland, yes. The unions want it, the liberals vote against it. Keep jobs in the US and let's pump our own crude as much as possible. 3) If the liberals want to have "alternative energy" let them put it in their backyards. As an example, Ted Kennedy is all for alternative energy until they wanted to put a windmill farm off the coast of Massachusetts. It's time for politicians to stop talking out of both sides of their faces. I'm all for alternative energy if it is affordable, cost effective in the long run, and if the people shoving it down our throats are willing to make the same sacrifices the rest of us would have to make. Don't travel around the world in private jets and tell me I can't have a 3/4 ton pickup. I'm sorry, but a Nissan Sentra (great little car by the way) can't take a half cord of firewood out of the forest. I could go on, but we get the idea.

That's funny. I remember when Ted Kennedy called Obama, Osama... Must have been a Freudian slip.
