Polaris 250 trailblazer cranshaft diameter
I'm reasearching the diameter of the crankshaft on a 2003 Polaris 250 Trailblazer. to fix it correctly. I can not find the diameter any where. I had to replace the starter bendix and made a mistake and stripped the beggining trheads on the shaft. I do not want to cause anymore damage to the shaft, I would like to run the proper DIE down the shaft I believe the die I have is incorrect.
Does anyone have the correct diameter or what size Die I need to buy to correct this issue. Any help would be geat.

If you can be more specific on what you want the diameter of, I can measure mine for you! I have my bike broke down right now so I assume it will be a easy task.
Are you talking about the shaft that the primary clutch is slipped onto? Are the inside threads what you damaged? If so, take the bolt that did screw in there and bring it to a nut and bolt shop, have them mic the threads and tell you the pitch and thrd per inch, then you can get a tap to that size to fix the threads. Anyhow, let me know exactly what measurements you want, I have all the necessarry tools to get a .001" measurement and tools to identify threads and pitches. Let me know what you want..
