Default 88 trail boss 250 starting problem

the oil line from the oil pump to the engine broke. it heated up and died. i replaced the oil line and the spark plug. still will not start. it turns over. this happened once before. after replacing the line, the plug, and turning it over for a while it started and ran fine. until now. any ideas? thanks.

Since the oiling system failed and it overheated it may be that the lack of lubrication hung a ring and broke it or the land. I would check the compression to see if there is damage and if that is not the prob then move on to the fuel and ignition

yeah depending on your mechanical experience a compression test and opening that head up could reveal &/or rule out a lot
