how to replace chain

Default how to replace chain

i broke the chain on my polaris trail boss 325 today. how do i replace this and how much do new chains run?

Chain prices vary along with quality also depends on Dlr. or aftermarket but if the chain is O.K. and only broke (a link) you only to buy a Master link about $5.00 to fix had the same problem with sons chain was O.K. no Master link so bought one and readjusted rear end for chain tension make sure to get the right size. Default how to replace chain

When I've had to replace the chains on a chain drive Polaris (I have a 95 425 magnum) such as a recent trailboss I was working on I just replaced chains and sprockets. It's such a pain to do I just replace everything while I have it torn apart. The sprockets and chains aren't that expensive so I just change out the whole works.

That's the one thing I hate about these particular machines is the blasted chains. You're always having to adjust them or otherwise fiddle with them.
