Default Scrambler Ignition not turning off

I just put a Cycle country Blade with electric lift on my scrambler and everything is working great. Except I can't turn the engine off by either the key, nor the stop switch on the left controls. It will just keep running so I have been chocking it until it stops. This is only since I hooked up the electric lift.

There were 3 wires, positive and negative went to the battery, and there was a wire that is to be tapped into something that is controlled by the ignition. Cycle country stated this is so the electric motor doesn't drain your battery when not in use. So I used the tail light. Everrything worked fine until I tried to turn it off. Did I miss something? I can't see how they are related but that would be one hell of a coincidence.

Default Scrambler Ignition not turning off

i not sure what the lift intails but sounds like a winch style hook up. the 3rd wire should be to power the solnoide if it has one. some how you have disabled the ground that when you turn the key off it grounds out the switch. just unhook the wires to make sure its the lift hook up thats doing it. then if it is make sure you have the wires hooked up correctly. make sure you hooked the power wire to power and not a ground. just an idear.
