Default Scrambler 500 Cam

I am looking into getting a cam for my scrambler but i noticed that it says "compression release removed" on most of the sites. I am just wondering if anyone could tell me does it make it impossible to turn over by the electric start? Also if anyone could give me feedback on power improvements I should get from this that would be nice too. Thanks.

Anyone know the specs on the stock cam? Lift and duration in comparison to the Web Cam? I am wondering if a lot of the performance gain is from the removal of the compression relief valve that makes starting easier..?
