Default Glacier 2 and Trails

Hey guys do you think it will be safe to trailride this spring and summer with my Glacier 2 plow mount still on. I only loses about 1/4 inch of ground clearance and if anything i think it offers good protection tom that part. Has anyone done this. i ride in trails with everything from rocks to rivers to lakes to hard-packed trails to mountains. Will this be ok, will it bend if i hit something, it seems pretty solid?

i will be taking mine off. the lower front part of my quad where the mount sticks out is all scratched up from rock and trees. don't want to pack the mount full of mud neither.
