I have a 2002 Polaris scrambler 400 4x4 and I was looking for a 4 tire and wheel package. But I was haveing some trouble packing the correct tire. The machine is pretty much stock I only preformed a belt upgrade and preformance reed valves with carb jetting. I ride mostly in the woods with a lot of big rock and deep mud. I also ride all winter in the snow on the same rocky trails. I was wondering what the best tire was for my rideing style ?? Thanks very much for your help.

I JUST INSTALLED SOME SWAMPLITES, RODE AROUND MY NEIGHBORHOOD, BOY THESE THINGS ARE ROCK HARD, THERE SUPPOSED TO BE AN ALL TERRAIN TIRE,I HAD MUSHY 2PLYS, THEY WERE VERY COMFORTABLE BUT TIPPY.THESE GIVE IT A VERY SOLID FEEL.I WENT 1" WIDER IN FRONT WITH NO PROBLEM. HAD TO ARMORALL THE REAR BEADS TO BRING THEM UP TO RIM, THERE SO STIFF! THIS 01 SCRAMBLER 500 4X4 IS A WHOLE DIFFERANT ANIMAL!
