Default HAWKEYE NEED HELP!!!

mongrel, go to that link and go to the thing that says Bumper, Front like you said. are you talking about parts 3 and 10 on the diagram? thanks for all the help. im new at this and dont have much idea of what im doing.

Default HAWKEYE NEED HELP!!!

Try this. 10 is the front bumper that hit the tree. 7 is bracket that joins 10 to the main frame. That is the un numbered part on the left of the diagram. I would look for damage on the bracket as it looks like the first part to be damaged. If that is it, straighten it to look like the diagram and remount every thing. That may allow the lid to come down or at least indicate where the hinges should be.

ok, thanks. i got it at first, just wanted to make sure thats wat u were talking about. ill take it apart and give it a look as soon as i can, probably in a week. i thought it was more serious, but it looks like it will be fairly wasy to take apart.

Yeah, its not a mystery. Go slow and look at every part and where it goes when you're removing it. Don be afraid to draw a picture if in question. If something doesn't come off easily, check closely, it may be bent also. And, the biggest thing of all, Remember how you got into this problem. We were all your age once and misjudged lots of stuff, but we learned and concentrated on making NEW mistakes.

Have fun and learn.

i have one of those $500 gas hobby RC cars that i do a complete teardown on, so this will be easy, lol!
