Default ITP tires

Getting about time for new tires. I have the ITP holeshot ATR now and they been great with well over 4,000 miles. Need help deciding on whether to by the holeshot again, our I was looking at the ITP terracross R/T. I would like a smooth ride and less steering effort. Hoping someone could give me some input on the ITP terracross R/T tires.

Thanks

I have them on mine. I've ridden the 12" size on my 500, and now the 14" size on my 800. They are great tires, super smooth ride even on hard pack and pavement, haven't noticed that the steering is any harder than with stock tires.

I can't say how well they are in "mud" as I don't go mudding. But I do find myself going through everything my riding buddies go through, except for the ugliest mud holes that I would only try on someone else's ATV. I would say that the Terracross tire is a better overall conditions tire than the XTR, with the XTR getting the definite edge in mud, as it's design came from the original Mudlite.

BTW, I just pulled my 700 lb. trailer out of the back yard today. Used the 800 with these tires, and managed to claw and spin my way through the thick snow and even managed to dig up the yard a little by accident. I felt like I was going a sled pull....LOL!!!

IMO, if you're going to do a fair amount of mudding, go with something other than the Terracross.
