Default 2007 Sportsman 450 Problems

Hey All, I'm new here and really new to the ATV world. I bought my 07 Sportsman 450 in September and it ran great. I have taken it in for 25 HR maintenance and it goes back in this morning for 50 HR maintenance but has really been running bad for the last couple rides. It starts right up but after about 2-3 minutes the RPM's drop and it dies but starts right back up again. Also if I get on it a little bit and let off the throttle the EBS starts to kick in and the RPM's drop and it dies. Can anyone help?

#2 I hit the end of a snow covered log with the front right tire yesterday and now it shakes really bad above 25 MPH. Can anyone tell me what I did?

they dont have ebs in the 450. you may have bent your rim when you hit the the log or bent something else. not sure if the tires are balanced or not but could have lost the weight to unbalance it. if you just bought this in sept. its still under 6 month warranty so take it back now to have it looked at before it runs out on the engine dieing out.

Well I took it to the shop this morning and went back tonight to check on it. I found out that it has a defective tie rod and got it covered under the warranty they said the engine problem is going to be covered under the warranty also depending on what they find. I should have it back next weekend.

Stendori: You were right it wasn't EBS it was ADC. Like I said I am new to this whole thing and still trying to get used to the acronyms.

ADC on a 450? Not sure about that.

My thought on why the engine is stalling is the throttle cable has too much play in it, causing the ETC to cut the ignition. My 500 did this shortly after I got it. Took a couple of minor adjustments to the throttle cable free-play before it stopped stretching. It hasn't done it since.

Whatever it is it comes on when you are decending a hill and take your thumb off the throttle and it does slow the bike down a lot. It has a very distinct whine or almost a whistle when going down hill.
