Polaris tracks versus Tatou 4S
#3
I have the original Tatou set up and love them. Both prospector and tatou have an extra tooth in the front drive sprocket which locks in the AWD full time when the button is in awd. Both are great tracks.
One differnece that I can see is that Tatou has tracks for specific models where Prospector seems to use the one model fits all by having different mounting kits to accomodate the differnet ATV's.
Pricing is in favour of Tatou.
Frame on Tatou is chrome moly steel, Prospect is High Impact Plastic if I remember correctly.
See www.atvtracks.net.
in Spokane Wa.
If you go to the comparison chart at the above web site, Kimpex commander makes the Prospect tracks but Kimpex does not have the extra tooth that Prospector does.
I'd be happy with either.
