Default Battery problem

Please help an idiot!! I tried charging the battery on a POLARIS 450 while the battery was still connected to the machine. I think some kind of fan started running When the machine wouldn't start, I took out battery, charged it and put back in machine. The fan started running immediately with out ignition turned on. Dash then shows running hot once the machine is started. Since this toy isn't mine did I screw something up?? HELP

Sounds like a bad thermostat switch or sending unit thati s in the radiator. It is keeping the fan running all of the time. Forget it just saw the ing. off part.

Default Battery problem

if this is an 06' sportsman 450 then chances are the emc is bad and needs replacing as they did have a problem w/ some of them. if its that, then maybe its one of the ones that falls under the recall list. let us know.
