Default do your own maintenance?

i have heard about a manual or book or something that you can buy and it helps you do your own maintenance instead of sending it in and paying for the mainenance, thus saving you money. i have the polaris '06 hawkeye 300.
does anyone know what im talking about?
can i get a link of one?

thanks guys!

Its called ATV service manual (book) and then you specify the year and model. It costs about $40.00 in Canada so in the US probably $30.00 but you'll save that much on your first jov.

I looked at my Hawkeye and it doesn't like that big of a job. One bolt at a time.

Thomas here's a site you can get a Hawk Eye 300 Factory Service Repair Manual for your 2006 for $49.95 US Dollars + shipping weight: is 3 lbs. to Ga. where i live it's $6.99 USD But there's a shipping calculater on the site !

Here is the link to the siet: Http://www.repairmanual.com There are three payment options PayPal , Credit Card , Mail , FAX or Phone .

In Stock As Of Jan - 13 - 2008 and it's ships within 2-to3 Business Days in the US this sound's like a good price !

I tried to get a Service and repair shop manual from my Honda Dealer for my first ATV , and the dealer told me he would have to special order it ; and he told me with tax it would around $200.00 with tax and shipping and i told him to not bother to order and that i would just do my service and repairs without one !

You can save that much for an oil and oilter change , and these have step by step instructions with pictures ; i used the ones for Autos and a few ATV's and Motorcycles and they paid for their self in no time !......................

Mornin Hawkman300
Get the one from Polaris. It willl cost more (Mine cost $50) But it IS a better book and tells/shows you more, It is a better book then a after market one, I got an after market one for $30 and gave it away, So instead of savin $20, I wasted $30.

theres no replacing a OEM shop manual that has more detail and all the specs you would need for sure.
