Default HELP

I have a 2000 Explorer trying to get it running. took off the seat and see that 2 hoses coming from the carb are not connected to anything 1 has a plastic piece on it that says vaccum the other comes from the back upper part of the carb. neither one of these are connected to anything> can anyone tell me where they should go or are they not supposed to be connected> any help would be great> thanks not quite a mechanic>

they are not connected to anything atleast on 96 sp they run up by the bottom of the seat and tuck into little holes in the frame there just vents i believe.

did you just buy that machine? if so doyou have a manual? if not get one! you need to check the counterbalance oil, very important to keep up with mantinence on those 2 strokes! i had a 2000 exp it was a good machine wish i didnt sell it.

Thanks for your knowledge. Don"t know much about performing maintance on any of my vehicles. thanks again.

get a manual so you knowhow to change the fluids the counterbalance oil is very important.
