Slightly off topic, but since all of the Scrambler guys/gals are here. I also have been considering getting one. I know that the Scrambler isn't really made for jumping, but how well do the Scrambers take the jumping?</end quote></div>
If you plan on jumping much a chain tensenor is recomended along with setting your shocks right. But they will handle decent jumps but not huge ones.I have took mine off 4-6ft ones with no problem.

I must say. I love my scrammy. Not only it has really good speed, power, and handling. You don't have to worry about a clutch to really make it move. I have taken 4-6 foot air on multiple times. Just remember, it is a heavy machine. Once you get it in the air, just hang on for the ride. And yes, a chain tenioner is highly recommended. Pulling the front end up isn't hard at all, just keeping it up is the hard part. I have the 2-wheel drive version and thats all thats really needed to have fun with. I'll leave the 4-wheel drive to the trucks.

a 2001 model is 7 years old. you don't know what type of condition it is in. You can get them alot cheaper than that. Mine is a 500ho and I got that one used for $2,400. I have learned over the years family will screw you more if they get the chance. I have never seen a full warranty on a atv unless he is going to put a warranty on it from his shop. I would shop around first before you jump on it. (thats just my opinon only)
