Thinking about getting a Scramble
All you Scrambler owners what do you think??
I have a stock Trailblazer 250 that has been a great ride. I have been thinking about having it really hopped up or just getting a Scrambler. I really like the AWD part. What do you guys think???? Thanks in advance.

I have rode a 500HO scramy all I can say is FUN!!! lol and they ride much better then the trail blazer 250 does, dont know if its wieght or what but much nicer ride! Plenty of power to get the eyes watering. It did seems to sit a bit high for me. All and all a fun quad.

Can't give the scrambler enough praise. It rides like a caddy and goes through anything. I wanted more of a sport quad and I was spoiled with the scrambler, every thing I rode was so bouncy and abusive to the body. I finaly ended up getting the outlaw IRS for the comfortable ride. But I just couldn't trade in the scrammy. I will switch between then depending on the weather and how much mud there is. I also plan on letting my wife ride it so we can both go ridding together. I will have to change my clutch back to stock for her

What kind of riding will you be doing???
If it is just going to be a "true" sport machine, the Scramblers are hard to beat. The 4x4 is nice when going to wet areas. They are very fun to drive!! My brother has one & there is nothing better on a dirt logging road or running fields and pastures.
The problem he has is when he goes riding in the woods & swamps. His 2-stroke scrambler doesn't like to go slow, plus he gets hung up on things an IRS machine can walk over. Without a low range, the Scrambler can't pull me out of the mudd when I go try something stupid. But then again, that's not what that machine was built for.

Thanks again guys,
I do trail riding up in the AR moutains mostly but have been known to get in a little mud down here in the Bayou State. My riding buddies are amazed at how well my TB250 does and where I can go but I am ready to get a bigger sport quad.

What can I say? I have two of them. Do you know anyone you can get a test drive from? I think you will like the 4 stroke much better than your trailblazer. I suggest giving it a demo.....
In fields, I love my 2 stroke because I can really hit the throttle. However, I also really like my 4 stroke.
You can't go wrong with a Scambler. I suggest buying something new, newer and in good working condition. You never know what suprises you might have when you buy something older and not running quite right. I'm sure you know that though. Good luck.

We were in the same situation as you. My wife had a trailblazer and absolutely loved it, the guy we bought it off of was selling his Scrambler 500 so we went to look at it and she fell in love with it. I think because it was Purple and in excellent shape, so we got it and sold the Trailblazer after wiping the tears from her eyes she took a ride on the Scrambler and she's very happy with it. They run great and no difference in size that I noticed so it's not much different ride wise other than the torque and AWD, you should see her ripping up the mud with it, I'll get some pics this spring and post em' Whether you keep the Trailblazer or get the Scrambler you got an awesome quad but I would suggest the Scrambler the first time out you'll be glad you did after hitting a jump climbing a hill then blastin through a mud hole you see you have a very well rounded machine!!!!!
